GTAA is a not-for-profit corporation without share capital and is governed by a 15-member board drawn from nominees from the four regional municipalities of Durham, Halton, Peel, York and the City of Toronto, the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada and from the Greater Toronto Area business and professional community.

Lloyd McCoomb
Dr. McCoomb has over thirty-five years’ experience in transportation and engineering management. He moved to Toronto in 1994 and became Airport General Manager until the airport transferred to the GTAA in 1996. Since 1996 Dr. McCoomb has been responsible for the planning, design and construction of the airport modernization and expansion program which was completed at the end of January with the opening of the new terminal’s international pier.
