To celebrate Icelandair’s upcoming service from Toronto, a gaggle of staff and actors dressed as swans have descended on Toronto Pearson International Airport. The swans, based in Terminal 1 from March 3–9 between noon and 6 p.m., will offer airport customers a chance to win a deluxe trip to Iceland on Icelandair’s inaugural flight, May 2, 2008.
To enter the contest, customers must get their photo taken with one of the swans. Photos will be posted at www.icelandair.ca/photocontest, where voting on the best photo will take place until 5 p.m. EST on March 14. The contestant with the photo receiving the most votes will be declared the winner. Icelandair is offering a deluxe trip on Icelandair’s inaugural flight for the winner and five friends that includes: round-trip airfare from Toronto to Reykjavik, four nights deluxe accommodations, a horseback riding tour, a day trip to Iceland’s natural wonders like waterfalls, a black sand beach and a glacier, and a relaxing day soaking in the geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon.
