Travel Updates: Aug 31, 2010 : 2010 Canadian International Air Show:

The Canadian International Air Show will be taking place at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) at the following times:

Friday, September 3 1:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (practice session)
Saturday, September 4 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, September 5 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Monday, September 6 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Many of the aircraft will be operating from Toronto Pearson International Airport.

GTAA Welcomes New Vice President
The GTAA is pleased to welcome Pamela Griffith-Jones to its executive team. On Monday, March 30, Ms. Griffith-Jones joined the GTAA team as Vice President, Chief Marketing and Commercial Development Officer.

Ms. Griffith-Jones will lead her team’s efforts in promoting the airport, developing the Toronto Pearson brand and continuing to develop revenue generating programs.

Prior to joining the GTAA, Ms. Griffith-Jones held a variety of senior leadership roles in the retail and consumer goods industries, including Canadian Tire Corporation and Sears Canada. Her wealth of strategic marketing, retail and operations experience will be valuable in supporting the GTAA’s goals of making Toronto Pearson a more competitive and sustainable airport.

Ms. Griffith-Jones is currently a member of the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre Board of Directors and has also been a board member with Altruvest Charitable Services and the Richard Ivey Alumni Advisory Board. She holds Honours Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario.

In 2005, Ms. Griffith-Jones was recognized as part of Canada’s Top 40 under 40 program.
