A GTAA team recently participated in the 23rd annual World Partnership Walk which took place in eight Canadian cities on Sunday, May 27th. The walk is a fundraiser to help fight global poverty.

The largest national event of its kind in Canada, the Walk this year is estimated to have raised a record amount and to have brought out more walkers than ever. The total of funds raised will be announced shortly.

For more than two decades Aga Khan Foundation Canada has been finding and sharing Smart Solutions to address the root causes of poverty in some of the most challenging environments in the world. It has done so by mobilizing the intellectual and financial resources of Canadians from every background, who share an understanding that the way of life we enjoy depends on helping make the world a more peaceful and prosperous place.

The GTAA and its employees are proud of their role in helping raise funds for such a worthwhile cause, by creating a team for the event and by personal donations to the cause.
