The Canadian International Air Show will be taking place at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) at the following times:

Passengers are advised that while most flights to and from Europe have resumed, it will take some time for flight schedules to return to normal.

Transport Canada has announced new regulations regarding carry-on luggage for passengers travelling to the United States. Effective January 20, passengers on these flights are now permitted to take one piece of carry-on luggage on board the aircraft. The carry-on bag must not exceed 23 cm x 40 cm x 55 cm.

Passengers are advised that additional security measures have been imposed by Transport Canada and the U.S. Transport Security Administration on flights from Canada to the United States. Effective immediately, US bound passengers are not permitted to bring carry-on luggage into the cabin of the aircraft.

Between Wednesday, October 17th and Tuesday, October 30th, one lane will be closed on the Outbound Arrivals Road to Highway 409. This lane closure shall facilitate the demolition of a bridge that was previously used to access Terminal 2, which is no longer in use.

The GTAA and CATSA remind passengers that there are restrictions in place regarding items that can be packed in carry-on bags. By arriving at the airport without prohibited items, security screening will be able to proceed more efficiently.

March Break will once again mean an increase in passengers at Toronto Pearson International Airport. While not the busiest time of the year, the increase in traffic during March Break means that passengers should be aware of airport services, airline regulations and packing restrictions to make their journey as smooth as possible.

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) opened Pier F at Terminal 1 today.
