Since 1979, Aviation Interfaith Ministry (AIM) has offered pastoral care to travellers, airport and airline employees, and their families at Toronto Pearson. Interfaith centres in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 provide an oasis for people of diverse faiths to enter into reflection, prayer and quiet time amid the bustle of airport life.
AIM also provides qualified and certified full-time Chaplains to enable outreach through pastoral counselling, hospitality and free practical and devotional literature. The Ministry currently consists of two onsite chaplaincies:
- Toronto Airport Catholic Chaplaincy (TACC) is an initiative of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto, in concert with The Pontifical Institute for Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People.
- Fellowship Chaplaincy Services, serving in eight Canadian international airports, is a ministry of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada (FEBCC).
These Chaplaincies offer the following worship services throughout the week:
- Roman Catholic Holy Mass and Rite of Communion
- Terminal 1: Saturdays at 5:30 p.m., Sundays at 10 a.m., Weekdays at 1 p.m.
